Being a leading name in the rulemaking and legislative practice, the team at Regstreet Law Advisors engages in various assignments requiring legislative drafting. While at SEBI, amongst many other drafting assignments, the Founding Partner was also a part of the Chief Justice NK Sodhi Committee on Insider Trading, which was instrumental in the framing of the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015. The Firm being a member of various committees of industry bodies such as FICCI & CII, helps Industry & stakeholders.

Financial Regulations are complex and have significant and far-reaching impacts on the regulated community. It is in the interest of the stakeholders to participate in the drafting process during the comment period. We assist clients in drafting their representations on various legislations and present these views before the RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, IFSCA and IBBI as well as at Ministry of Finance during the consultation process.

We also assist organizations in internal rule-making relating to policies and by-laws in compliance with the Rules & Regulations of regulatory authorities at various stages right from drafting to subsequent amendments as need be.
