Our team is comprised of lawyers who have significant litigation experience in the regulatory sphere. With a focus on dispute resolution on the regulatory side, we excel in regulatory enforcement and litigation representation at financial regulators, SAT, NCLT, NCLAT, High Courts and Supreme Court.
Litigation-&-Dispute-Resolution

Regstreet Law Advisors regularly represent clients before the financial regulators, their appellate tribunals such as Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT), National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal Law (NCLAT), Special Court dealing with offences in securities laws, Bombay High Court, Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India.

We start assisting clients from the early stage of providing information to regulator when sought, and advise during the investigation, show cause notice, inquiries, until the matter is finally resolved through settlement or an exoneration. In the past, we have advised and represented the Insurance Regulator (IRDAI), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), National Commodities and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) before the Securities Appellate Tribunal.

Regstreet has been involved in some cases that has changed the law and jurisprudence. The Firm has obtained successful orders in numerous complex litigations, such as obtaining exoneration for a large conglomerate and its promoter family in India’s first case on the principle of a Need-to-Know Basis under Insider Trading Regulations, or exoneration of a multinational corporate agent from IRDAI suspected of a large fraud of policyholders money.

We also represent clients in the arbitration mechanism of the Exchanges. The Firm also engages in other litigation and arbitration in the area of corporate and commercial law.
